I am trying to figure out why everytime i make a left or right turn my speedometer, door locks, gear shift all the lights goes off while making turns. i recently replace the headlight switch because i thought that was the problem and no it wasn't. so once the lights blinks off i turn the switch from being on to off then back on and everything lights up until i make turns. once all the light shut off my brake lights and blinkers still works fine.when driving straight i be good just when i turn.

That is an odd issue. However, I suspect you either have a short in the harness that is getting rubbed when you turn the wheel or more likely you have an issue in the clockspring.

Here are some guides that talk about this:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/symptoms-of-a-bad-airbag-clock-spring

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/steering-wheel-clock-spring-removal

If it were me, I would replace the clockspring and retest the issue.

I attached the info from the manual below on how to do this. Please let us know what questions you have. Thanks

Hi,

I looked through a few wiring schematics. I see one thing which is common in the affected areas. It looks like the clock spring in the steering wheel can be the cause. What I suggest is to follow the directions above and inspect the clock spring. I have a feeling that could be the issue.

Let us know.
