Hi,
It sounds like a bad ground. Start at the battery. Make sure the terminals are clean and tight. Also, make sure the battery is fully charged. Also, check the connectors at the alternator.

If that is good, follow the negative battery terminal to the engine block. Make sure the cable is good and the ground connection is clean and tight. Here is a link that explains how to test wiring:
