my turn signals do not work at all. I've checked the turn signal fuse its good, flasher is new, hazards running and brake lights all work. This led me to believe the multi-function switch was bad. replaced it and still nothing. i don't know what to check next. I've never had a bad lamp to cause the signals to stop working completely. what could it be?

Hello, do you have a 12v automotive test light for checking circuits for power? It looks like from the wiring diagrams the turn signals and the hazards run off different flashers, which both come from different fuses as well, I'll post the diagrams for you to see, but on these older vehicles the wiring becomes brittle and connectors end up with corrosion in them, but we should be able to figure out what's going on here.
Thats also pretty low mileage for the year. Has the truck sat for a while inside or outside?

Heres the oem wiring diagram for the Turn and Hazard Flasher circuits. Since its a bit dark and tough to see the wire colors, i just wrote down on the side what colors to look for when finding the Turn Flasher, Since each flasher has its own wire colors thats how you'll have to identify it. If Fuse 7 has power on both side, something to check is that one leg of the fuse didnt break off due to corrosion, That can be tricky when quickly going through and checking fuses. But this just might be a bad Turn Flasher.
