turn signal and hazard lights just stop working

Do you mean they "STOPPED" working or they stop intermittently, then work at times? The best suspect is the electronic flasher assembly. It would seem the old, reliable $1.99 flashers don't work any more. Now everyone uses an expensive unit with unreliable computer circuitry inside. We have a hundred times more signal and flasher problems than we ever did in the past.

Of course you checked for blown fuses already, right? Especially if the brake lights are involved too. Those aren't related to the flasher.
