Turn signal/dimmer swith

The switch that dims headlights/turn signal went out, also, the window wiper control. I believe it is a two piece unit. I ordered the part, just do not know how to install it. I have heard, have to pull steering wheel, but, also, been told, no, just have to remove casing, and, pull it. Can someone please tell my how?

see pictures for removal install is pretty much reverse of removal. air bag disabling is included, but be very careful so it does not explode in your face.

I need to know how to take steering wheel off, to get to the signal unit?((

you need to take off airbag then undo nut and use a puller auto parts rent them
