Turn signal crisis

1995 BMW 318I
180,000 MILES • 1.6L • 4 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I have a 95 BMW 318is. The rear turn signals are not working (both sides). The front and side markers work, but flash fast. I have checked the fuse and replaced both bulbs. I have examined the connection points for contact and all seems ok.

Hello, this is a common problem with these cars, most likely the lighting module has gone out and needs replacement.

Thanks. Is that the same as the flasher mod? If not, what is it and where do i find it?

Did some more checking and there is a flasher relay in the power distribution center, here is a wiring diagram that will help you.
