The turn signals turn off after a few blinks when signaling. I have replaced the turn signal flasher module by the steering wheel column as the suggested fix and it is still turning off after a few blinks signaling left or right. I even bought another module to make sure the new one was not defective and it did not fix it. Is there a fuse or a bad connection in the turn signal lever that I am missing? Or do I have to reset it/cycle it? I read turning the hazards on to cycle which I did but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At the flasher unit there is a ground wire that sounds like it is not connected. Here is a guide and the blinker wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and how to test the ground:

Please test the ground and let me know how it goes.

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
