Trying to make sure the wires are correct because battery getting too hot?

Bought truck used but it has a lot of electrical issues just want to start from scratch to make sure it's wired correctly.

Good call, which wires do you want to make sure are good, also if the battery is getting hot it is being over charged, here is a guide to help confirm the charging voltage.
