trunk is not closing

My trunk wont close and I do not know how to fix it.

make sure latch is open and not locked then try lubing in area where arrow is, then if it closes open and close a few times to work lube in. have a mechanic check for a problem if this does not work. see picture.

If trunk has remote release, make sure handle retracts to the closed position.
