Truck will not start when hot

After driving truck when it is shut off for ten or twenty minutes it cranks but will not start until it cools off. While it is running it is perfect.

That is the classic symptom of a failing crankshaft position sensor or camshaft position sensor. They often fail by becoming heat-sensitive, then they work again after cooling down for about an hour. Have you read the diagnostic fault codes? Do you know how to do that yourself?
