I have a 2006 ford f-350 with 6.0 diesel I just started having this problem if I drive for 20 minutes or so and turn the truck off it wont start not even turn over literally nothing happens. when I turn the key the message center says check gauges and the tranny temp is pegged at cold. If I wait 30 to 45 minutes for the motor to cool its starts just fine please help

check fuses 31-103-113 in central fuse box, check starter relay also check battery condition both if you have duals including load test. then if all that is ok when this happens have an assistant try to start and you smack the starter on the body with a hammer. if it starts you need a starter
