The truck will start but if I park it after I let it run for awhile then turn it off it won't start

When it doesn't start, check to see if there is spark and fuel to the engine and let me know what you find. If both are missing, check and replace the EEC relay under the hood to see if it starts. You can switch the relay with another one with the same part number to try it.

If you have a good blue spark and the fuel pressure at the rail is within the manufacturer's specs, there there is a problem with either timing or the injectors getting power. Have you checked for either of those issues?
