Bought vehicle and had to replace air flow manifold and meter. Was told fuel pump was bad. Replaced it one week later it seems pump is not working. Is there an issue burning up fuel pumps. What can I do?

Any concern with fuel, have a fuel pressure test done first. You have to rule out the pump before you throw another one in there. The fuel pump relay controls it to begin with. I have had many wiring problems with the Mitsubishi's. Many corroded wires and such, so keep it simple to start with. See if that pump is still working or if something else has happened first.
