I have the truck listed above 2500hd Duramax. A mouse got into the fuse box and chewed up some wires. I have taped up everything showing any wire. Originally the truck wouldn't turn on or shut off with the key. I was able to get it to turn on with the key by fixing a wire going to the starter relay that was chewed completely through. I'm still having a problem with the key not turning the truck off. I have been resorting to pulling one of the relays to shut it down. My question is, what fuse/wire should I be looking at that signals the truck to shut off?

Yep, rodents are tough on equipment for sure, I found the ignition switch wiring diagrams so we can see how the wiring is supposed to go and how the system works. Also, I have included a guide on how to check the wiring once you have repaired it. As you can see by the wiring diagrams the ignition switch must cut power to the pink, brown, orange and white wire

And you can use a test light to make sure the power has been cut when the key is in the off position.

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
