I can start it fine but as soon as I release the clutch pedal it shuts off. Does not matter in gear or not it shuts off, I don't even try to move truck at all.

Hi,

This is an interesting one. When you start it and before releasing the clutch, does the engine run properly? Can you rev the engine? If you rev the engine, can you make it move at all?

Also, is the check engine light staying on when it's running?

Let me know.

Hi,

No engine light.
Yes, I can start it and rev the motor all day long but soon as I release the pedal it sounds like it's in gear but does not feel like it in any way. Wheels don't even try to move. But after it stalled, I got under truck disconnected drive shaft to see if it would stay running and no difference. After it stalled I went underneath and was able to move output shaft, so I don't think it's locked up in anyway.
Thank you for your response.

Is this in any way possible to be caused by a bad flywheel that is not connecting properly?
