Truck will not start, full battery charge, park brake cable snapped, truck has'nt started since

Truck won't start, park brake cable snapped under Lt. Dash panel. Truck hasn't started since. Is there a built in lock out feature on this vehicle that prevents it from starting when the park brake system fails?

if the cable snapped and trans was not if park or neutral it won' t start. make sure new cable is installed properly and adjusted correctly. it could be a shift interlock problem so check fuses under hood.
