When I was on my way home coming up to a stop sign I herd a loud bang. When I tried to leave the stop sign it would not move while in 2 wheel hi, when I put it in 4-hi or 4-low it would go, but had a grinding sound and was leaking oil from the transfer case. Sounds like the transfer case shot, is that the problem

Someone is going to have to crawl under there to look at what is leaking. It is more likely a universal joint broke and the slip shaft fell out of the transfer case but you would see it hanging down. Has the truck been raised? If so, that changes the geometry of the drive line and puts added stress on the transfer case. The increased vibration can crack the transfer case housing.
