Truck will not do anything

My son got a programmer for Christmas and he thought he would mess with me so he hooked it up to my truck said he was not able to try anything on the programmer. now my truck will not do anything. could he have erased the factory settings?

Good morning.

Yes, he may have as the start of the process is to erase some settings from the PCM and install other settings.

You will most likely need to have the PCM re flashed.
