I replaced fuel pump fuel filter and still does not build fuel pressure. I checked the pump cut off it’s working fine but I’m at a loss of what else. Someone told me possibly a ground, but I don’t know what ground goes to the pump.

Hi,

Have you tried to reset the inertia shut off switch? It should be located on the passenger side behind the kick panel. See the attached pic.

As far as a ground, the ground path is provided via the power-train control module.

Let me know about the inertia switch. Also, let me know if you have checked any relays.

This is Tom I would like to chime in. Did you change the pump yourself and did the rear lights work before the pump was changed? And it currently will start but just for a second then it shuts down?
