Truck stalling at idle?

Just bought this truck from my brother. He’s been having issues with the truck stalling anytime he’s stopped. He has one of those devices you plug in that gives you a code to help locate the issue. We believe it has something to do with the fueling. He replaced some hoses he found bad. I recently replaced the fuel filter, watched a few videos and found a few other things that could be the issue, but I think it’s the fuel pump. I'm not sure how to even begin to replace it or even figure out what parts I need to replace it.

You have the right idea, first run the codes to see if any are stored, next I would service the throttle body and check for vacuum leaks, here is a video to show you how to do the jobs for both procedures:
