Truck stalls while driving

It ran great until this month. Every other day, random warning lights will come on in the dash, then shut off next time I would drive it. Then, all the meters' needles started vibrating at zero whenever I would shut it off. Last week, it started shutting down while I drove it and it has happened four times since then. Just complete shutdown but then it turns right back on. On Sunday, I got to my destination shut off the engine and the whole thing just lost all power. Engine did not turn over, nothing. Luckily it started back up a short time later. I took it to Honda dealer but they could not do anything since it did not do any of the things it had been doing for me. They did not want to throw money at a problem that might not be there (ignition switch, alternator, etc.). I am at my wit's end. Any advice?

Yes, I have seen this problem before and replacing the battery took care of the problem. What happens is the plates inside the battery get warm and short out. Then they cool off and start working again.

Here is a guide to help you get the problem fixed.

Thank you so much! I will replace it this weekend. The problem went away for a while, but now those random dash warning lights have come on again today.
