I had code P1229. Replaced the cylinder head temperature sensor. Drove fine for a day or 2. Now the past 3 days it has run hot, only in the afternoon. Please help.

Hello THOMASSH,

Okay, so this is for an open, short, or no power getting to the intercooler pump.

I have added some information for you for possible causes. I am working on getting a wiring diagram for you.

One thing you can do is turn the key to the key on engine off position and tap the pump with a hammer and see if it starts to work.

It is located underneath the vehicle on the passenger's side ride behind the intercooler.

Let me know if it sounds like it is coming on when you tap it.

I will continue to find a wiring diagram as well as relay and fuse location for you.

Thank you,
Brendon
