My SUV has always run great but for some reason if it sit up for about four days or more without starting it something drains the battery and sometimes it will start after jumping it but sometimes it will not take a jump even though it has strong power and turning. Something is shorting the battery out and keeping it from starting even after a jump. The crazy thing is that I can go to the car days later and it will start with out a jump.

Check for a parasitic draw keep in mind that the electronics will have a slight draw constantly. also get battery checked for condition including load test most places do for free. See link.
