My truck started having a miss, then it stop running. This all happened after I got into some deep snow. A mechanic said he thinks I might have damaged a sending unit. Your thoughts please?

A problem with a sensor circuit will be detected by the Engine Computer, and it will set a diagnostic fault code related to it. Having those codes read and recorded is the place to start.

Hey CHARLIE,

This could be due to the fuel pump failing which is common on those trucks.

Please run this test and get back to us so we can continue helping you.

Best, Ken
