Truck cranks at high RPMs and shuts off?

The truck listed above is a 1500. It cranks and revs to high RPMs and cuts off. If I press gas at crank revs to high RPMs and won’t go down until ignition is cut off.

It sounds like you have something holding the throttle cable open at the throttle body or the IAC (idle air control) motor is stuck on full and will not release the idle speed. Here is the location of the throttle body and IAC so you can check it out. If the cable and throttle body butterfly seem closed then I would replace the IAC motor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Thank you for your quick response. I was thinking the same thing on some type of air flow issue. While checking the throttle body and hoses around the manifold. I pulled on hose leading back to manifold and felt a plate hanging off of it. I noticed a hole in the back of manifold where the plate goes. The plastic plate on the back of manifold lost its seal and came off resulting in the issue.
