truck backfires and will not start

replaced fuel pump, has good pressure, truck backfires and won't start.

Hi,

Did this happen all at once? Have you confirmed the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specs? If it's too high due to a faulty fuel pressure regulator, that can cause backfiring. Also, a very lean fuel mixture can do the same.

Also, try disconnecting the MAF sensor and see if it starts. (See pic 1 for location)
