The 3rd 4th 5th gears and reverse work, but the 1st and 2nd gears are floppy and wont work?

sounds like a shift rail issue. have it checked at a trans shop

do you know about on average how much that cost to fix?

they have to remove the transmission and disassemble to determine the issue, then you can get a price
