Truck will not start if you try to touch both starter post with screwdriver and all you get it spark what does that mean Bendix bad or starter

TO BE ABSOLUTELY SURE IT'S A STARTER ISSUE, BEFORE YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY

PULL IT OFF AND TAKE IT TO A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE, THEY CAN BENCH TEST IT, THIS IS NORMALLY A FREE SERVICE!
