The vehicle started fine and drove 2km. I tried to start again, and the RPMs were up and down randomly. Then I tried to back-up vehicle, and it rolled for a bit but then came to a complete stop with all power shutdown.

I tried to start again and drive forward and the same thing happened with an abrupt stop of the car.

I tried to drive the vehicle again but had the same results.

Dash lights will turn on and can roll down windows.
Complete stop and shut down on drive terrain.

Help?

We need to start with checking the codes and find out what is there.

Here is a guide that will help with this:

Does the vehicle only shut off if you try to move it?

If the vehicle will idle just fine and only shuts off when you are moving, then that tells us there is something in the transmission that is locking up and causing the engine to stall. So, I would think that this could be a converter issue.

However, if it will not run even in park, then we have an engine issue, and this guide will help with the most common issues.

Let's start with this info and go from there. Thanks
