Trouble Starting until the third turn in the ignition?

So, I bought my impala recently about a week ago, but when I tried starting it then it wouldn’t start until the 3rd turn in the ignition.

I would then drive the car but when I hit the brake and come to a full stop the car wouldn’t accelerate again and the engine would stall.

It also has trouble sometimes accelerating like as if the engine has no power?

I have no clue what can cause this other than the fuel pumps which is very expensive to replace.

Yep, this sounds like the car is going into limp mode, which you can read more about here:

Most of the time this is caused by a throttle body that needs to be serviced, here is a guide to show you how and I have included instructions for your car in the images below:

Do you have any check engine light on? If so, we will need the codes, also clean the IAC valve on the throttle body as well. Check out the images (below). Please upload videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
