I have done a scan with Carista and have found these codes along with poor fuel economy, limp mode once in a while and strong engine vibrations on start-up.

244800
2A8B00

These are manufacturer specific.

Based on the codes you provided, it appears that there may be an issue with the diesel particulate filter (DPF) system.

The first code, 244800, is related to the DPF system and indicates that there is a problem with the DPF regeneration process.

The second code, 2A8B00, is also related to the DPF system and indicates that there may be an issue with the differential pressure sensor.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Dropped my car off at Halfords for a diagnostics check, told me that the DPF has been forced a regen as it wasn't getting up to temp. Apparently all fine now, although I'm not convinced as they didn't even charge me the $49.99 cost of the diagnosis?

Also, in this video can you hear any timing chain noise?

Thanks for your advice and time!
