Hello. Any suggestions? I replaced both my camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor and I’m still getting the code P0342 with start up trouble. What should I do next?

Hi,

The code indicates a low voltage issue to or from the sensor. In this case, it can be a connector issue, a broken wire, a short-to-ground issue, or even a failing PCM.

I don't know what type of tooling you have, but if you have a live data scan tool as well as one that can look up freeze frame data, I attached the diagnostics below specific to this vehicle. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

You are very welcome. It's no problem at all.

If you have a chance, let me know what you find. I'm interested in knowing. Also, if you have questions, let me know.

Take care,

Joe
