Trouble Code P0101

I initially got my car checked at Auto Zone and came with this code. I replaced the MAF sensor and the engine light went off for a few days.
I drive a lot for work. I have put about 20,000 miles on my car just this past year but have kept up with maintanence and follow all maintenance guidelines strictly. I realize the engine light turns off around the halfway mark then comes on a few days after I fill up. I do notice the lag in driving when the engine light comes on but drives completely fine when it goes off.

Hello,

When you replace the MAF did you use an OEM unit? it matters. Also I would service the throttle bore when doing the job. Here are two guides to help walk us through the steps with diagrams below to show you how on your car.
