Hi Jessica,

There is a sensor and integral to the hub bearing is an encoder. This magnetic pole encoder serves as the trigger mechanism for each sensor. At each wheel of the vehicle, there is one wheel speed sensor and one encoder.

If you have replaced the sensor with a new quality sensor, chances are the issue is related to the encoder. To replace it requires the replacement of the hub bearing assembly.

The process isn't too difficult to perform. If you look below, I attached the removal and installation directions for you.

Just to confirm, it was the front left wheel speed sensor you replaced, correct? (driver's side)

Take a look through the directions below and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Let me know if this helps or if you have questions.

Take care,

Joe
