Hi,
This type of issue can be a few things. Most likely, either the crankshaft position sensor is failing, or we have low fuel pressure.
First, take a look through this link and let me know if you feel it mirrors what you are experiencing:

If not, then my next suggestion would be to check the fuel pressure to make sure it is within the manufacturer's specifications.

To check the pressure, you will need a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend one to you.
I attached the manufacturer's fuel pressure specifications below. Note: The 8th digit of the VIN is the engine code. It will be either a Z or something other. Take note of the pressures based on the VIN engine code.
