transmission compatibility

i have the car listed above with the Eco-Tech engine in it. I need to know if a 2001 Cavalier with a 2.2L Eco-Tech transmission will work in my 2003?

car is automatic, both transmissions are automatic. need to know if it will work.

It will not work. The best I can tell is that 2003 will only work with 2003 in this case. The good news is that it will fit from Pontiac Sunfires, Pontiac Grand Am (2.2L models), and the Saturn L200 and LW200.
