Transmission will not engage

15,000 MILES • 3.5L • 6 CYL • 4WD • AUTOMATIC

The vehicle transmission will not engage on drive when the weather is cold. Once the vehicle engine is warm the vehicle will operate normally.

Note: The transmission was completely rebuild four years ago with less than 20,000 on the rebuild transmission.

Please advise

Hello,

Of course check the fluid level first. If okay the transmission seals may have gone bad. This is a classic seal problem becasue the seals work better when warmed up.
