Transmission upshift problem

The check engine light comes on while stopped and the transmission will not up shift out of first gear. If I pull over and shut engine off for about 5 minutes and the restart, the check engine light comes on, but the transmission does shift properly. I have had PCM replaced 2 times and numerous other things done. It now does it sporadically.

Hello

It sounds like you have a input (turbine) shaft speed sensor that is going out. To confirm lets run the codes to see what comes up. also here is the sensor location so you can check it out:
