Can you replace the transmission with a 2003 F150 transmission?

Good morning,

I attached the transmissions available for both trucks below.

You need to replace it with the exact transmission you currently have at the moment.

There is a tag on the side of the transmission that identifies the model.

Check the tags and let me know.

I want to swap a transmission from a 09 F150 4x4 to a 01 F150 4x4 both have 4.6 liter engines.

Do they look the same and do they have the same electrical connector? If so, then they should work, let me know if you have any more questions about the installation. Check out this video, it should help:
