Transmission swap?

236,000 MILES • 4.7L • V8 • 4WD • MANUAL

My truck listed above 1500, the transmission went out. It is hard to find parts, found another transmission that came out of a Dakota don't know exact year, but it is a nv3500 will it interchange it is a 4x4.

If it looks the same and has the same wiring connector you are probably okay. To know for sure wrecking yards have this information because they have special software which is not available to everyone.
