Will a 1998 4l60e transmission fit in my 1999 Silverado? Need to know before a buy.

Good morning,

They both need to be four wheel drive. Make sure of that first.

Look at the electrical connector on the transmission form the body and make sure it is exactly the same.

If they are the same then good. You will be good to go.

They are both 4x4 will their be any difference in the trans wiring harness?

You will need to compare the harness plug at the transmission from your old one to the replacement. They must be the same.
