What is involved in changing the tail shaft housing to be able to connect the transfer case on my transmission? It is currently set up for a two wheel drive vehicle and I want to install it in a four wheel drive vehicle. Does the shaft have to be changed out or just the tail shaft housing?

Hello,

Just the tail housing needs to be changed. Here are diagrams to help you. Just undo the bolts to the housing it will come right off. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed. #19
