When you put it in Q7 in gear, it will start to go then about 20 feet there is a clunk and a whirling or grinding sound, I then put it in neutral and it stops. It will also go into reverse and do the same thing but not as much.
I believe it is the Torque converter but I would like to hear opinion.
Thank you

Hi,

What you are saying makes sense, but have you checked to see if there are any codes stored in the system? Also, is the fluid clean and full? Does the gear indicator show the correct gear selection?

If you haven't checked for codes, that is where I would start.

Let me know.
