TRANSMISSION SHIFTER ISSUE?

Thanks for the video it helps, yep, this car does have shift cables but they are not the problem, the reason it wont go into gear is the clutch is not disengaging. Please watch this video to help as well

Can you put the vehicle in gear and then start the engine and the car will move or stall when you put the brake on? Be careful of the car moving when in gear and you start the engine. This looks like a clutch problem not a shifter issue. Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on

CAR DOES NOT STALL IN ANY CASE NO MATTER WHAT ONCE IN GEAR THEN STARTED.

Yep, it looks like the clutch disc has come apart and will not allow the car to go into gear or have the ability to drive the car so the transmission will need to come out and the clutch assembly replaced.

but if the clutch disc came apart how am I able to drive it once started and can speed up with no problem, and that goes for any gear I select including reverse

Usually the clutch disc will come apart and not allow disengagement. This is why you cant get it into gear.

Sure, if the shifter works when the engine is not on, then the cables are okay.

Ugh. I see. Also, when off and you shift it into gears they don't go in smooth, something is in its way, so not 100% smooth

It wont be smooth in all gears, I say the clutch is bad and you need another.

I had a chance to play with it a bit more, this time while in the air. I bled the slave cylinder couple of times and trued sane results. But when i first step on the clutch after i bleed it and let go it will stay in, then if i pull it its all fine again. Moved the gears by moving the mechanism on top of transmiyby hand and it will go in except reverse, i had my son with his foot on clutch and i player with the gears and they would go in and asked him ti hut the ga and yes it moves. But when i put it down on the ground he isnt able to put it in gear ysing the shifter. I am trying to eliminate slave and master cylinder before taking the down the transmission so i wont regret it

I believe they were. But i's been a while. I don't delete any videos from any post I make. But it probably was in the first post I made on this topic, not yesterday.

Thanks for the info. Usually when the secondary cylinder is bad it will leak externally, can you see fluid? Also, check the rear of the clutch master as well. You should be bale to watch the actuator rod from the secondary cylinder to see if it has movement that is consistent while pushing the clutch down multiple times.
