Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

This problem can be the result of a couple different issues. First, make sure the transmission fluid is both clean and full. A partially plugged transmission filter can cause low pressure and shifting issues.

If you find the fluid is fine, then I suggest scanning the computer for trouble codes. If there is a problem with a shift solenoid, transmission control module it should have identified the issue and stored a code. Here is a video which shows how to use a scanner:

If you find trouble codes stored in the system, write them down and let me know what they are so I can further help.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
