Looking into maybe purchasing this car listed above GT. It has announcement of a transmission shaft issue. What is that on manual transmissions on these cars? Googled it a bit and plenty of people reporting it.

Did you give you specifics?

I would assume the worse that you will have to replace the transmission. In most cases, if a shaft has failed there is other internal damage as well.

Input or output shaft ? Doesn't really matter you need to remove the transmission for repairs. here is a video that shows you how:

Didn't buy it, the dang thing went for retail price. all they say is that it has the common transmission issue and is the transmission shaft.
