Where are the transmission sensors located?

Hi,

The X-Trail wasn't offered in the US in 2007, but I'll try my best to help. In 2008, they introduced the Nissan Rogue which is to be the same vehicle under a different name. The only thing that may be an issue is in 2008, they used a CVT transmission, so shift solenoids aren't present.

However, there are other solenoids. First, I attached the wiring schematic below. Look at the bottom of pic 2. Those are the solenoids in a CVT.

The solenoids in the pic will be internal. If you look at pic 3, it shows the connection for the CVT unit. Check that to make sure there are no issues. Also, let me know if there are any diagnostic trouble codes stored.
