How to calibrate the transmission range switch when replacing?

How to calibrate it when replacing?

They don't show that it needs calibration, so I would put the transmission in neutral and adjust the sensor, so the engine cranks over and then tighten it down. This is what they give us. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
