Code P0705, transmission range sensor circuit malfunction

Hello there,

The car showing code P0705, transmission range sensor circuit malfunction. The car also not working properly on reverse gear. Once shifted to reverse gear, it gives a jerk and then start moving in reverse. I want to know how much would it cost to replace the transmission sensor circuit?

Hello,

Yes, the sensor can cause the transmission to malfunction. You must start be removing the battery and tray. Here and diagrams and instructions on how to change the gear range sensor out for a new one. This guide will walk you through the replacement as well:
