I was able to take it out, but putting it back in is an issue, the rod with the spring is not letting me get it all the way to the back and I can't reach to do some leverage, is there a picture or video to get how exactly it should look? I might be having something where is not supposed to be.

Thanks

Yep, it looks like you need to use a pair of vise grips to hold the shaft in place while installing the gear range sensor. Here is how to replace the unit correctly. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

I don't know if this is well explained but when I'm trying it to lock it I can't get the 3 things at the same time, locking pin in the bottom left, rod with the spring and the rod that goes to the shaft cable, I don't know if I it's bad that I was able to get it out so easy or If I have to move something to put it back on

I've seen the diagrams, and I can't get them together, I'm attaching the diagram pictures.

It looks like it is a bit of a dance, I have not done this repair, but I can tell you, you might need to rig something to hold everything in place so it can be reassembled correctly. I have heard of people using wax or grease which can hold or slow down the movement so you can put it back together. Thanks for the image, it helps.
